Wax Poetic didn’t begin as a business — it began as self-care.

I was overwhelmed, constantly plugged in, and desperately needing a screen-free hobby that supported my mental health instead of draining it. I started melting down old thrifted candles just to have something creative, calming, and hands-on. Slowly, what began as a soothing personal ritual turned into a passion for transforming forgotten candles into something beautiful and meaningful.

Today, Wax Poetic is still rooted in that same intention: slowing down, breathing deeper, and finding comfort in small acts of creativity. Every melt is poured by hand in tiny batches, using upcycled candle wax to give discarded materials a new life — one that brings warmth, scent, and soul into your home.
